Happy Monday, Oppo.
Vickers VC-10 (XV108) at Heathrow in 1978. This aircraft was scrapped in 2012 or 2013 and the forward fuselage went to the East Midlands Aeropark. Looks like a nice little collection they have there.
You can see a complete list, and photos, of the collection !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Saw one of these guys in low altitude flight flight circa 2010. I didn’t know the plane at the time, so I was confused by the extra engines.

Good looking plane, and fast. A VC10 held the record for subsonic crossing of the Atlantic for 41 years before it was beaten by a 747 aided by Storm Ciara. Only Concorde was faster.

I didn’t know it was called the East Midlands Aeropark, despite living about five miles from it. I’ve always known it as the Coventry Air Museum. Funny to know a place your whole life and not actually know it’s name...
I haven’t been in ages, but I do remember being allowed to sit the pilots seat of the Avro Vulcan they have there. Even let me hold the controls too. Last time I heard about it they were closing it, must of been saved then.

As of right now, it’s closed due to Covid . Looks like it’s still there otherwise. I’d love to visit, though there aren’t any plans for a trip to England in my near future.

Speaking of nice little collections, when YouTube was autoplaying things for me the other day, they showed me The Last Flight of the (Handley Page) Victor. If that’s not the ugliest aeroplane that every flew, it’s certainly a contender.

Oh, I don’t know. I think it looks like what the future looked like in 1950.
